🔥DSC Testing

Each piece of molecular art will go through a heating technique known as a Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC). Essentially if enough heat is applied to the protein, then it denatures and is not longer in the active form. Based on the mintage number of the BakR_D0mains NFT, each piece will be tested by the wheel of names (WON) to see if there will be an NFT burn or not. If the proteins are defective, then they must be destroyed.

Here are the t1/2 burn rates for the following minting numbers:

• Level A - 500 eds. -> 65 °C

• Level B - 100 eds. -> 85 °C

• Level C - 5 eds. -> 95 °C

If the WON spins a higher number than the t1/2 burn rate, then half of the remaining NFTs will be destroyed forever. This can turn a 500 eds. piece of artwork into a very limited edition collection.

Also, be on the lookout for a spin of 100 °C -> when this happens, there is a "lab accident" and ALL unsold NFTs are burned for that molecule on all platforms.

DSC testing will happen on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of each month. Announcements can be found on Discord and results will be publicly available via YouTube.
